Since cars go through wear and tear a lot as they’re ridden down different roads, regular glass cleaning liquids won’t clean out all the accumulated grime. On your next car wash day, if you’re doing it at home, use a little vinegar to wipe down your windows.

As you wash the windows, apply a generous amount of vinegar on them. Do well to scrub it well and rinse afterwards. The acidic property of the vinegar will break down all the dirt and leave your car with sparking windows.

Asides making your car windows clean again, vinegar can make your windshield wipers more effective again. Over time, the wipers may begin to become streaky and sticky. Rather than cleaning your window to improve your sight in traffic, they make the water and dirt smear on the surface of the windshield.

But this is not a sign that you need new wipers. You can take a cloth soaked in distilled white vinegar and wipe the rubber on the wipers in back and forth motions. All the grime causing the smear on your window will dissolve because of the vinegar.

15.  Relieve Sore Throat

You may just be suggesting the worst thing in the world to some people if you tell them to drink vinegar. In their defense, it is not the sweetest drink to gulp down. But for a sore throat, it can provide relief.

Vinegar can help clean your laptop properly. After shutting down your computer. prepare a mixture of equal quantities of water and white vinegar. Slapping a good old sticker on your car is fun till you want to get it off and can’t. Most times, the stickers stay on forever. Trying to get them off will make it worse because the sticky remnant of the glue will leave a mark.

Grab your bottle of undiluted distilled vinegar and pour some on top and at the sides of the stickers. Leave it to soak for about ten to fifteen minutes. Then use a piece of plastic to scrape off the sticker. The vinegar will remove the sticlker and dissolve the glue remnants leaving no marks.

19.  Mix a Dusting Spray for Yourself

Did you know vinegar can prevent dirt from gathering in the home? Rather than grabbing your duster, apply it on your furniture to prevent dust from settling on it.

Just make a mixture with two teaspoons of olive oil, a quarter cup of vinegar, one cup of water and some drops of lemon essential oil. The vinegar will break down and remove the accumulated grime while the oil will form a protective, shiny layer over the surface of the wood. The resulting mixture is a dust repellant that ensures your surfaces are dust-free. This will reduce your cleaning time.

Rather than use toxic chemicals to clean your house, consider using vinegar to wash the dirt away. Your sink can be clogged. With time, particles can accumulate in the pipes forming a solid mass of rubbish that stops your sink from draining well. A bit of vinegar will deal with the mess down there.

First, pour down a large quantity of boiling water. Next, pour in a cup of baking soda. After that, pour in a cup of vinegar. Then plug the drain and leave it for about five to ten minutes. The baking soda and vinegar will create a bubbling expletive that will dissolve the mess. Just for confirmation, pour down some cups of boiling water.

Microwaves can be difficult to clean. After using them for a while, pieces of food get stuck inside. If they’re not wiped off immediately, they’ll stick to the microwave and are tough to get out.

To clean out the microwave, pour distilled white vinegar into a small bowl and add the same quantity of water. Microwave the bowl with its content for two to three minutes till steam starts rising from it. Then soak a cloth in the mix and wipe down your microwave’s interior. The steam will soften the grime and you can clean easily.
