10. Rybolovlev Manor – $ 95 million

Donald Trump require everything the best and he bought it, until the divorce. After that his property with an area of 33 thousand square feet on the ocean has become a key part of the trial, when Elena Rybolovlev wanted this building as a compensation because of the infidelity of her husband.

In this amazing castle there are eighteen bedrooms, 22 bathrooms, and it costs $95 million, making it the most expensive private residence in US. Strangely, but we also found 9 houses that claim to this title. Firstly, this house was put up for sale for $ 125 million, but soon the price dropped to $95 million. It looks like the economy crisis has knocked down everybody. A discount of $30 million – not bad, huh?

9. Silicon Valley Mansion – $100 million

Famous magazines say that this is the most expensive private residence in the United States, this house … wait, aren’t we told you that the Rybolovlev estate is the most expensive? Anyway, this house is worth 100 million so that we assume that it won. 5 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms, as well as indoor and outdoor pools (in case of rain), the whole house is gorgeous.

8. Fleur De Lys – $125 million

This residence is the most expensive in the list, but it was placed only on 8-th place. The house itself has nothing special for reach people, but the price put Fleur De Lys only on the eighth on our list. Wow, that’s weird, huh?
In la Fleur De Lys there are 41 thousand square feet and 15 bedrooms, but apparently no bathroom, which, we believe, a huge mistake made either by the architect or the person writing these articles that we use as sources.

7. The Manor – $150 million

Finally, the most expensive residence (and actually people live in it) in the United States, according to Wikipedia: it cost $150 million. Thank you, Aaron Spelling, for the (seventh) most expensive house in the world.
Fifty six thousand square feet, one hundred and twenty tree rooms, bowling, ice-skating, and reportedly a whole wing given over to the wardrobe of Spelling’s wife.

6. Pinnacle – $155 million

The house, which is owned by Tim Blikset, in the state of Montana is unique for two reasons: it has a private chair lift directly from the house to the nearby ski resort (it also owns by Blikset), and this is the only house on this list, which obviously does not pretend to be the most expensive in the world.
Well, let’s assign him the title of “best backyard”, because it’s a ski resort.

Wow, that’s a big jump in price. This Palace was built by king of Belgium Leopold II in 1902 on the French Riviera. The Villa was purchased by Russian billionaire Prokhorov, who is so rich that the loss of several billion during the last economic crisis did not prevent him to buy a holiday home for three quarters of a billion dollars. 27 floors, with 19 bedrooms and, as rumor sais, 50 full-time gardeners.

Here it is. The most awaited one. The Grand finale. House for one billion dollars.
